Upon the biginning of new year, golf club makers are debuting their new products. After the runaway success of the
TaylorMade RBZ Irons last year, TaylorMade are set to launch their new RocketBladez game-improver irons which have been designed to offer sensational distance by using an enhanced Speed Pocket behind the face.
Each RocketBladez iron has been individually designed and TaylorMade testing has also shown that irons with the 2mm Speed Pocket (which features from 3-7i) will produce a higher peak trajectory and steeper landing angle, for more control when attacking greens and tight pins. By distributing 17.5g of weight, TaylorMade engineers have been able to lower the centre of gravity, which also contributes to the lofty ball flight.
According to studies, 68 percent of iron shots by amateur golfers were mishits below the center of the face, which is where the RocketBladez Irons help golfers the most. It was designed to significantly increase ball speed and distance on those low-face mishits, adding up to 10 COR points to the face compared to
cheapest burner 2.0 irons. The RocketBladez has a large cavity behind their stainless steel faces that lowers the centre of gravity and pulls it further away from the face, which is said to make them more forgiving and higher-flying.
The
TaylorMade RocketBladez Irons launch the ball high so you have a lot a carry, but due to the speed pocket, which acts like an extra lever, the ball goes further than any club he have ever tested. In his opinion, these irons are a game changer and I cannot wait to get a set. They will be available November 23rd and will come in 4-PW,GW in steel or graphite. The RocketBladez irons make it easier for players to find the sweet spot, which theoretically allows them to maximize energy transfer for higher launch and maximum distance.
TaylorMade RocketBladez Irons are especially effective on impacts made low on the face; with long irons and mid irons, most mis-hits by amateurs occur below the center of the face. Golfers can expect dampened vibrations after impact due to the polymer in the Speed Pocket which helps to enhance feel and Mark King, TaylorMade Golf Company President and CEO, hailed the launch of the RocketBladez
golf clubs for sale as the biggest iron innovation to date.
