The Twilight rumors continue! The latest in casting news
is the 90210 hottie AnnaLynne McCord may be joining the cast for the sequel New Moon.

According to reports, producers are considering McCord for the role of Heidi. Twilight fans know that Heidi is a fisher who brings humans to the Volturi for the vampires to feast on. She's also known as bait because of the way she uses her stunning looks to attract humans.

Hollyscoop caught up with AnnaLynne at the "Kiss For A Cause" event in Santa Monica where she confessed she's going to hear back about the role "next week."

"My fingers are crossed though," AnnaLynne told Hollyscoop exclusively. "I'm a fan of the books as are my 14 and 12 year old cousins who are obsessed, they would freak if I got it. And I just want to do a film with a small role during my hiatus and then just have the rest of the time off cause I need a break, I want to go to Europe!"

The role isn’t a big one, but in her brief appearance in the book, the character is described as having "exceptional, unforgettable beauty, with stunning legs, long hair and violet eyes.”

Well that sounds like Anna! Of all these recent rumors (Vanessa Hudgens, Dakota Fanning, and now this) we can see AnnaLynne joining the cast the most. She definitely has that devilish character to her.

Filming is set to begin on New Moon in March, with the movie coming out in theaters this November. That’s a quick turnaround!


Maybe alright, since Heidi isn't in the book much. But still do not like her. Blah

yeah i just watched a video with her and she said that they are trying to work things out. i don't like her or anything but i'm all whatever at this point now with this series stuff i swear. LOL

I actually am not really upset if she gets cast. It is a small role not someone you have to see nonstop. Heidi is such a small character who cares if she is in it especially if she actually fits the role.

I'm in the same boat I cant say oh no just because she is hanging around with Kellan and I dont like that lol. I have never seen her act plus who cares it is a small role and I would rather know about the main cast then someone who was hardly mentioned in the book. Um for the poll couldnt there be an undecided, or dont care option

Ok I have officially changed my mind about this chick! Hell no as in hell to the no she is cocky, bitchy and doesnt deserve to be in any Twilight movie.

I totally agree she shouldnt be in the movie and when she started talking about how she was going to play Rosalie but couldnt because of her schedule I was just ready to go all Alice on her and take off her head. She just sounds snobby and like she thinks she is the best thing since french toast....I really have no clue why I used french toast but....it works

French toast is kick ass! And she certainly is NOT! I saw an ad for a movie coming out on DVD called The haunting of molly hartly.. Poodle girl is in it.
