The
TaylorMade RBZ Stage 2 Driver builds on the success of its predecessor. It combines a lower and more forward CG location, a more aerodynamic head shape and an expansive, 4,100 square millimeter club face to promote up to nine more yards for better players compared to the first generation RBZ driver.
The Rocketballz Stage 2 Driver is longer and faster than the original
cheap TaylorMade RBZ Driver. The new Thick-Thin crown pushes the CG forward producing a higher launch, lower spin and faster ball speed. Inverted Cone technology produces a larger sweet spot allowing for longer straighter shots on off-centered hits.
The TaylorMade RocketBallZ Stage 2 driver is built for golfers who want the high forgiveness of the original RocketBallZ driver coupled with faster swing speeds, more distance and more adjustability. There is even a talk among some PGA Tour players that the RocketBallz Stage 2 driver is the most surprising club among the introductions. Stage 2 usage on the PGA Tour could exceed that of
TaylorMade R1 Driver.
The TaylorMade RBZ Stage 2 Driver has a large address footprint, but the new version's clubface is deeper and larger than the original. Yet, TaylorMade says, the
cheap golf clubs for sale design overall is more aerodynamic, helping increase clubhead speed. The stock shaft is the 50-gram Fujikura RocketFuel, and TaylorMade confirms that this light shaft, combined with the mass properties of the driver, will create a moderate draw bias for consumers.
TaylorMade R1 Black Driver features a thinner, weight-saving crown design and more adjustability. TaylorMade Loft-Sleeve Technology offers 7 standard and 5 upright loft options to add +/- 1.5° to each of the available stand lofts: 9.5° (which can be adjusted up to 11° or down to 8°), 10.5 (which can be adjusted up to 12° or down to 9°) and HL 13° (which can be adjusted up to 14.5° or down to 11.5°).
