Listening Party

OK....so did anyone here go? I did. I really liked the CD...but, didn't stick around to hear Bella's Lullbye.

Some anal things I came across though:
1. If your a Hot Topic employee who's trying to push Twilight stuff...don't looks like the kind of vampire that is NOT in the book. This chick had like fangs and bite marks on her friggin neck...I was like HELLO have you READ the book?

2. The free gift. I don't know what everyone else got...but all my store gave out was a $5 off card that you had to use tonight. Kinda sucked in a way considering when I bought the CD I also bought a sweatshirt and a t-shirt. I managed to use it though since I found the zipper jacket that has Twilight written down the one side.

3. Teeny Boppers. There were these girls...so help me. I'm all for being excited about something...but when Rob's song came on..they started friggin CRYING. Come on now....this isn't a Jonas Brothers concert.

I went to the one here, I got a small poster, book mark and the $5 coupon. Bella's lullaby was really good. They took pictures and I am in 2 of them I don't know where these pictures will end up. There were alot of teenys there but only 1 seemed to actually tear up. AND OMG I saw a guy with a Twilight shirt on! I'd never seen one hahaha..I bought... 3 more pins, 2 more keychains, The "HERO" Tshirt and a purse but it wasn't Twilight it was clearance and I wanted it haha.. I also asked if I could have the poster promoting the listening party and the girl said she would ask the manager but she doesn't see why not!!!!! I am stoked. I also asked if I could have the cardboard thing on the rack and she was like sure

Wow..they didn't have NEARLY as much stuff at my store as they did yours! We only had like two pins....some posters, and shirts. They had the three zipped sweatshirts also..but I snagged the last one of one of them. I was kinda bummed they didn't have the keychains though. Do you know if the Bella's Lullubye is the same one that is floating around on the internet?

I don't think so, I've heard the one they have on limewire and one that I have heard on a few myspace pages. The one they played was completely different. Its really good. I loved Roberts song. He has an amazing voice.

Damn. I LOVE the one thats on limewire. I thought it was perfect..LOL

i went to mine and man they stocked up on twilight stuff. however they did not have the new key chains. they had the pins and some new stickers. i grabbed me some..haha. got the new hoodie they were holding for me as well.

we got a bookmark with the first poster on it and a pic of paramore on the back with soundtrack info. we also got the $5 off that we used tonight along with 10% off as well. i also got the poster. the only way you could get one is if you took a pic. i kept walking around cause my hair was all up and stuff. tho i did have make up on..haha. well the lady saw i had a hoodie on and had to take my pic holding the poster. wonder where that pic will show up. hopefully not at all..lmao.

they had these really awesome HUGE stickers on the glass windows. man i would kill to have those. this one girl that works there was aHUGE twilight fan so i didn't bother to ask if i could have anything cause i know she's gonna be the one to get it..haha. it's cool tho i don't have room as it is!

anyway... other than the other paramore song and the umm math muse (i think that's them..lol), robs song and bella's lullaby i've heard them all. i went for rob's song and the lullaby to be honest. i was not let down by rob at all! that will be my fav song off the cd i'm sure of it. i also really liked the other paramore song. maybe a little more than decode..haha.

bella's lullaby i was mildly disappointed in to be honest. it had too much string and other instrument stuff in it for what it should be. i mean it was nice. but i think just the piano part kind in the middle was the best and i hope that is what will be in the movie while he's playing it.

anyway our store was so loud! all those damn teens. one screamed when rob's song came on and i thought i was gonna smack her. i kept thinking shut the fuck up and listen you dumb ass! so i found these other girls (in their 20's) and we hung out in the back trying to listen. we were getting so ugh cause people wouldn't shut the hell up. i tried to tape it but it didn't come out good cause of all the talking! but i did find something on LJ and it's ok. at least you can hear it.

I didn't plan on spending what I spent but oh well its worth it haha.. I still need another frame for my struggle poster. I can't wait for the CD I will listen to it in the car as soon as I leave work.

The poster was on their door, and I was like hey what are you gonna do with that when this is over and the girl was like umm usually we either send em back or give em away then she asked me if I wanted it and I was like OME yes! And she also gave me 2 extra "Team Edward" pins
