ok so as we know walmart will carry their own items. katie had sent me some pics a few days ago and i never sent them to my pc cause i'm a dummy..lol. so the first pics will be of how they want the set up done. the next pic of hers is how her store looks set up with the twilight stuff! now mind you i went to my super huge big walmart today and they didnt' have ONE thing out. not a single thing. so i head to another small one and they had the smallest stuff out.. i'll post those as well. a friend of mine that lives in NC went to hers and they had a huge section. had the game and everything! not my stores.. they suck and i swear i wonder if they ever will get it in..lol. the shirts are the jr shirts. so jess...and anyone else that is like us.. we are flat out screwed! the bad thing is.. they shirts are really nice too..lol

maybe katie or the walmart workers can let us know. but aren't all the walmarts suppose to have the same set up/stuff? i'm gonna hit a couple more here this weekend. i live in a huge city and we probably have over 10 or more here. if i can't find what i want, i'm gonna have to hit folks up for what i need. how damn sad is that. i swear i think it's memphis...lol.

I love walmart and if I went in mine and saw that I would cause a scene. LOL

yea like i told tamran. I was told we were getting trucks in this weekend so hopefully come monday morning i will have more to put out in my dept. I went to the store near me and they didnt even have the signs set up just one side of the foreway... they stuffed the tee shirts. I got a pic but i can't upload on this stupid comp. so i will be sending it to tamran around noonish today. not sure what time it is there so i dont want to wake her.

i went to my walmart here y esterday and they had that chip display and some tshirts like the ones pictured over by the purses and stuff...i was like..squeeee....what else do they have?? but i couldn't find anything else...i did get a shirt..i couldn't resist!

I want to go to my Walmart and see for myself but I would hate to go there and then not find anything. I think I will wait until Monday. Hopefully they will have stuff there by then since it will be less than five days away! I so want some Twilight shirts. I have to start gearing up for the convention! I need a nice inexpensive team edward shirt. I love Cafe Press but there shirts can be kind of expensive like one shirt I want is like 30 something bucks. I know I might be a little cheap but in the 20 dollar area would be just fine for me hell even HT was selling shirts for 22-26 dollars. Come on Cafe Press throw me a bone! Oh well I know when it gets closer to this summer i am going to go crazy with buying merchandise! I hope Walmart comes out with their display her soon.

Hey all! I thought I would come on and tell you ALL the fantastic things that we have going on at Walmart. Like most stores, at 11pm on Friday the 20th of March, we will be holding a Twilight Party in honor of it’s release at Midnight. Almost EVERY 24 hour store is doing this and has all the things that I am going to mention, so if yours doesn’t, then they need to be slapped.

All 24 hour Walmart stores are essentially setting up little Twilight Cities in their stores (generally around the women’s apparel or jewelry section). In this City, you will find many cool little items including temporary tattoos, Twilight Jewelry, Tshirts, Walmart Exclusive posters, movies, soundtrack, books, etc. A lot of those things are being held until Friday night, but some of them are already out on the floor. The BEST thing in this City, is the flat screen TV that is broadcasting the bonus disc from the upcomming release, on repeat (more on that in another blog).

Here is a list of the activities/happenings that Walmart has going on and it is followed by photos (sorry that they are black and white) that show what is being given out and raffled off.

Release Party Kits (below) will be handed out and will include 50 Twilight themed door hangers, Character cards, activity brochure, and tattoos bundled in Twilight Themed folders.

At 11pm Friday, the in-store TV network will run an exclusive interview with key characters from the film. The video will last 15-20 minutes running on ALL TV’s on the TV wall in the electronics department.

mine so does not look like that..lmao. also read on another site that someone went to their walmart and they already had out catherine's book (not due out until the 17th). but at least this person says that some may hold off until putting it all out on the release date. i still beat you my 2 closest stores won't look like this..lol

but now i don't where i want to go.. Ht or walmart. at least at walmart you are getting something for sure. tho it is small. i think it's insane how they are having so many release parties that offer so much. not like you can be at all at the same time.
