also make sure to call your local stores as it states. i called mine and they said they are taking names and if they have enough people call and ask about it they would do it. so i'm not looking for it to happen here. people just aren't into it.. not adults anyway...i've noticed that here.. it's more teenagers then anything. so sad really. i'd really like to meet more adults that are as into it as i am...maybe i'm the only one that has issues tho...

Completely understand what you mean - down here in the land of Oz, the Twilight series is very much seen as a 'teen' book - I've received raised eyebrows from adults who thought it was fine to read Harry Potter (which I loved!!) but for some reason not this...
So great to have this forum where I'll get to chat with others who like me, are fully-fledged adults (most of the time anyways!) and in love with the fantastical world of vampires and werewolves!

OMG I've seen older women carrying around the book. But I have had some people look at me weird when I wear my shirts or bracelets. I told my mom the other day, I thought this series was a good way for mothers and daughters to reconnect if they've lost that. One of the ladies that lives here in my town said the really enjoyed have time with her daughter, reading and talking about twilight.

I carry mine around when I am reading them and yes I get the looks as well but I also don't look 26 according to some. I get some looks when I wear my gear as well. I love my Twilight and I ain't ashamed haha!

Haha I am hoping to get a Twilight inspired tattoo with some of my tax money. Not sure of where or where yet

i've thought about a tat for a long time. i have one right now. i just haven't been able to get my idea out on paper. it involves the hardy's and shawn together. anyway i've thought about a twilight thing as well. but didn't come up with anything. cause i don't know what i would really want on me for the rest of my life..lol

but yeah i wear my stuff all the time! i dont' care. people look at me sometimes like and you are how old? whatever...some people grow up and then forget what it's like to still have fun..lol

but these have brought many people together. it hasn't brought me and mom together hahaha. she took my book and had it i know over a month and didn't read past the first few pages. for some people i think it's the "high school" part or the "love" story part. cause when i first told my mom it was a love story she curled her nose up. some people just aren't into those things. it has however (even tho we were super close anyway) brought me and my sis together. but my sis like me is a reader anyway.. willing to try anything. when i finally bought her twilight and sent it to her.. she was hooked..haha

dang i forgot about this little gimmick here. i need to call my local store back and see if they are gonna do it. they said they would call and haven't, so that is probably a bad sign. i wish more adults would just get their head out of their butts and take a chance..lol

I dont get funny looks off adults when i've got my Twilight stuff on but I did get mobbed by teenies wanting to know where my shirt came from!!!!

I do get more looks from teens then I do adults. Its almost like Teens are questioning my age lol

I did get asked at the NC state fair where I got my shirt lol.. I was wearing my Edward shirt from Borders. And when I was out to dinner the night of the pre-release party and this girl was like OMFG you like Twilight 2, I was like yeah I love it. I gave her one of those bracelets I gave you Jenn and she actually went SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Then a friend of hers (A guy) came up and was like umm do you have anymore of those bracelets my girlfriend would love it.. I love Twilight fans.
