The only thing that was a bit hard to get used to was the back and forth from Bella to Jake. I would have preferred it just to be through her eyes. But at the same time it was really cool to see it through his too. I guess I am not making sense! I will say that I loved this book more and more as I got through it, so much so that I read it in 24 hours lmfao I am so mentally drained but in a good way! I feel complete now. But I will read them all again of course, they have changed my life, honestly. I love them all for different reasons. I found Bella much less annoying in this book, so much more mature. I mean the one thing I would have done different if I were Bella during the whole series, was say yes when he wanted to marry me! I was like, what the hell are you thinking Bella, say yes to this godly creature!

But it all ends well, I think she ended it well. He finally got to hear her, the best gift she could give him, herself.

Yeah the bouncing back and forth in this one was really annoying but I did like seeing Jakes point of view. I love the part in the begining when she driving her "Before car" she was hilarious. I was literally yelling at the book when she didn't automatically say YES to his proposal.

I liked this book, i thought it was great, and when Bella found out Edward and Jake had to tell her something i said to myself that Jake's imprinted on Renesmee, and yeah the book for lack of a better word it just completed everything.

Seriously why DID some people complain about it? I swear I couldn't find one single problem with it...

People were complaining about the fact that everything wound up perfectly for Bella in the end. Basically, she got everything she wanted- she was happy, Renesmee survives, Jacob's happy, her family is happy, etc. People apparently think that sends the wrong message to the young readers- like stuff never turns out this neatly in real life.

I adored the book, I've read it three times. I tend to skip over Jacob's part, because I really just don't like him, but the rest of the book I thought was great.

I mean come on...it's a book about vampire love and shape-shifters...what kind of message do you REALLY want it to send? Rolling Eyes

Rolling Eyes I LOVE happy endings, but apparently some people just.....

[b] I LOVED Breaking Dawn....BOO to the naysayers. I wasn't THRILLED about the imprinting with Renesmee, but when you think about it-the fact that there WASN'T a fight with the Voltari and the imprinting both leave it open for future books....something more to come!! I HOPE!! lol

I really enjoyed Breaking Dawn.....but I was disappointed in a sense...ok well not disappointed just wasnt expecting that happy ending I guess! I was so prepared to cry. I totall expected a fight with the Volturi but nope! I braced my self to lose one of my beloved characters but no one I loved died...I was kinda relieved but at the same time surprised that it ended on such a positive note...thats just my personality always expecting something negative...still loved the book...and I will definitely read it again.

I actually figured out that Jacob would imprint on Nessie the minute he went to attack Nessie it seemed like he was taking too long and then I realized he was going to imprint...I was like YEEEESSSS! it was so cute...when Quil, Embry or Whichever one I can't remember at this moment imprinted on Emily's little cousin I found it a little bit creepy until Jacob explained it and i found it endearing...I thought that it was sweet and not surprising that Jacob imprinted on Nessie...I mean she is all the things that he loved in Bella in someone he has a chance with...Well in a few years that is! and Nessie will always be safe...and thats the important thing!

I think it's kind of like a catch 22. I mean, people are pissed that there was this big happy ending...but if Stephanie wouldv'e killed off one of the major characters, people STILL wouldve been pissed.

I just finished this book about 10 minutes ago. I already loved this book the most, I didn't even have to finish it yet. Its a very close tie between this book and Twilight. I thought this book was so sweet in the beginning, with the wedding and the honeymoon...and then when Bella said she was prego I was like WTF? And then to me it got very very weird. I was like this book is crazy!!! I was a bit angry at first that Bella confided in Rosalie, because I was with Jacob in thinking she just wanted the baby and didnt care for Bella. I was even a bit worried that Bella would die, but deep in my heart I knew she was going to live.
I flipped to the back of the book to see how many pages it had and stumbled upon the list of all the covens...I read the Cullens and I saw "Renneseme" I was like AW MAN!! It ruined the surprise of the sex of the baby, b/c I hadn't gotten to that part yet. It was then confirmed that Bella lived and that the baby was a girl. I was a bit dissapointed but not too much. I covered it up with a post-it note so when I loan it to my friend the same thing wont happen to her, haha.

I predicted that Jacob imprinted Nessie. I knew it at the exact moment that he said Rose held her up and he saw her face. I was proud of myself when I figured it out, haha...it sucks that I wasn't surprised about it though.

I thought the chapters with the confrontation with the Volturi was long and drawn out, a bit boring, but other than that, I loved this book and think its almost perfect!

Alice is one of my favorite characters and I felt so betrayed when she left. And when Bella went to the J dude and got the documents I was like oh no, this book is going to turn out tragic. I was pleasantly surprised that the Volturi chickened out.

I love this book!!

Yea I have to agree....plus the whole Volturi-chickening-out-at-the-last-minute bit seemed kinda anti-climatic to me. But overall I really enjoyed Breaking Dawn

I agree the battle or lack there of at the end was EXTREMELY anticlimatic but at the same time I think it needed to be done. The Volturi do still keep order. You dont have to like them...I dont....but without them the south and most vampires unlike th Cullens would wreak havoc so even though I wanted Emmett to finally get to beat up Demetri I knew it ended right.
