me i want him to stay as well. he's the only one i want to play the part...lol. i have my own personal views and at this point in the game i keep them to myself. cause there are more jake haters in the twilight fandom then anything else...lol

yeh i am 100% team edward, i LOVE the cullens and jacob does my head in a bit, not meaning 2 offend anyone or nothing! But i think taylor was pretty good as him, seeing as every1 saw him as 'SHARKBOY' (bad times) but i thort he pulled it off well!

Yes Tamran we know how passionate you are about Jacob. I do agree that Taylor is very passionate about the role and did a great job as the young jacob i do hope they keep him on because this copon guy is annoying as hell

As far as looks.....I at least have to be fair.....Copon does look like Jacob and I think it would be crazy to not notice that BUT it doesnt mean I dont want Taylor as Jacob even though I have my reasons for hoping he maybe um....I dont know...grows a little taller at least and that he keeps bulking up after all no matter how you spin it thats all part of the transformation so it would be nice to see that. I know ppl keep saying that others are "bitching" for wanting that but truthfully people want the characters and the actors to coincide as much as they possibly can and I dont see anything wrong with that. I am not a fan of Copon tho and hopefully when the producers and director sees how negative a response he is getting they will make sure he isnt Jacob even tho it would cost more to cast Taylor again since they would have to use CGI for his....changes....and they already have to use a lot of money for that with the werewolf stuff. That stuff is not cheap at all and I can why Summit would want to try and save for the budget and get someone else BUT they have to make a sacrifice and realize that the budget isnt a lot and they already made so much so suck it up Summit lol!

well how about this then... they should have to recast embry and sam as well. because they are no where NEAR the size taylor is even right now! if people want their wolf men to be like the book then the whole wolf pack will have to be recast. they don't have to use CGI to make taylor look taller or bigger. it's called make up. they need to focus the CGI on the shape shifting. if we even get to see any of that at this point. i honestly don't think that coupon is that much bigger than taylor. maybe some taller and has more of ab thing going on. but he's not that much bigger, not to make that much of a difference.

if we get on the well they should look like the book.. as much as nikki as rose is ok to me.. she is FAR from being the most beautiful thing in the world and forgive me but the girl has a huge ass! isn't described as being so perfect and what not...just saying...lol

if taylor's age turns out to be the big issue then that's something completely different. i don't like it, but i can understand their child laws and what not. it still sucks tho. but that must not be something chris is too worried about if he met with him. i just wish we knew. i want taylor to STAY. but if he has to leave.. for the love that is holy do not make it jerk ass coupon.

For Taylor they would need to use special effects because lifts and makeup arent going to make him look that tall. I think he is big enough as far as muscle but he is not even close in height....which would require CGI. Maybe they should recast the other two if they arent able to look the part. I guess the whole thing is Im not speaking just as a Jake or Taylor fan. I know the business and the special effects needed plus the child laws thing which can be a pain in the butt for sure. Truth be told as much as I love Taylor if you weigh the pros and cons they slightly sway toward Copon which I hate. I dont want Copon to get the job but there is a reason why it has taken so long for a decision to be made.....because they have reason to want to hire Copon and not Taylor BUT Taylor is loved by the fans and did a great job on the first one. I dont think it has to be exactly like the book....the movie wasnt that way. But as far as the characters go they should be in the ballpark. Ashley may not have been as short as Alice but she definitely looked the part. Taylor did great as the little Jacob from Twilight. I seriously think he could pull off the acting for big Jake BUT it is hard to believe Jacob has changed when in reality he is going to be the same height as the girls in the movie. Plus yea the child laws are a big issue....Kristen Stewart felt so happy once she turned 18 on set. The laws cause a lot of issues and take away time from shooting so that again is another reason why the jerk copon is favored....no child laws. Either way Tam I know you will debate this to the end because I know how much you love Jacob and Taylor so really it is almost pointless for me to even write this but hey it was just me expressing my thoughts on it. I love Taylor and I hope they find a way to make him grow in the movie....which is one of the main points in New Moon so taking that out like it never happened would be odd. I cant wait to find out who is playing Jacob.....they are taking forever to decide and the film is already in preproduction.

I didnt realize that having a big butt was a bad quality in a woman if we're talking about attraction besides I think Nikki is beautiful and did a great job as Rosalie.....I dont think its really cool to bring others down just because someone is upset Taylor might not be Jacob. in the new instyle mag. it has rob on the cover, it says something about recasting some people. I didn't read it but I'm wondering if its Rob? The cover said something else about partying to much.

I read that magazine, They are keeping Rob.. They were saying he partys to much with a "Source" saying he's drunk by 6:30pm every night which I find as bs. That he was drunk at a meeting for Parts per Billion and shit like that. They are also talking Kristen smoking pot to relax haha.. And the recasting thing is about Taylor and that copon guy and That the guy you played Prince Kaspian in the Narnia movies wants to play Aro.
