Rob Rumored to Be In The Next POTC movie.

Rumors are flying that the sexiest vampire in town is set to replace Russell Brand in the next installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films.

“Pirates of the Caribbean 4” is still in the planning process. Quite rumblings have been going on since the success of the trilogy. Johnny Depp has already expressed his desire to return to his beloved pirate character, Captian Jack Sparrow. Geoffrey Rush, Captain Barbossa, and Gore Verbinski, director, have also pledged their alliance to another “Pirates” installment. However, don’t be looking for Orlando Bloom to renew his role as Will Turner. Keira Knightley will also be forgotten in the new film. The plot is due to center solely around Jack Sparrow. Several scenarios are still being thrown around. The latest is and addition to the Sparrow family tree. Jack will get a brother.

Russell Brand was said to be in the running along with Zac Efron, but after Brand perturbed in the Disney kingdom by slamming the Jonas Brothers and their dedication to chastity…he is due to be replaced. Current front runner is the new hotness, Robert Pattinson. With his massive and still growing fan base, Disney wants his appeal to ensure the success of another pirate movie. Fingers are crossed for a 2011 start date.

Sign me up. Who doesn’t have Johnny Depp pirate fantasies? Don’t pretend like you don’t want to have his dirty pirate babies. Add R.Patz to the fantasy….wet naps will be handed out at the ticket booth.

PLEASE no! is all i have to say. POTC is already fine it way it is. I know i'm going to pee alot of ya'll off. But I'm a HUGE Johnny Depp fan and I'm not sure Rob is right for any of JD's movies

i disagree...and no one will hate you. only because this pirates will be based around jack and nothing else. i don't think it's gonna be really too close related to the first 3 that everyone has fallen in love with. not only that i think rob can do it. people have always given johnny a hard time about things he does, ya know weirdness and all. rob has that. the way he is reminds me of johnny in some ways...just walks to the beat of his own drum and it seems it would like to play roles no one else would want. i've always loved johnny for that alone! not only that we can't really tell if he can or not. the man hasn't been in but a handful of movies and most of which never made it on the big screen. i've been watching his little ashes stuff closely and he's so taking control of that role. i can't wait to see the movie!

i think rob can do a lot that none of us know about. if it is true i hope he nails it. i have faith in him and the others from this twilight movie as to what they can do in future roles. they are the new break out stars.

As much as I love Rob at the moment I am struggling to imagine him as a pirate !

Hmmm I have mixed feelings about this. I love Rob and I kinda like the Pirate movies so I guess it could work. Not sure yet

EW reported this is just a rumor and so not true.. i'm amused at all the crap that is coming out this week.
