After several months of testing and researching I settled on the
cheap ping i20 irons and I could not be happier. If you are among those who are looking for compact heads but with more forgiveness at the top end like me, the I20 irons must be a good fit for you.
After hitting the Ping i20 Irons I am attrcted by them and get rid of the thoughts to consider about the
cheap MP-59 Irons which I was very close to going with. The combination of a progressive set with a high-density tungsten toe weight makes them very easy to elevate and shape, but provides enough forgiveness. In addition, the clubs have a high ball flight and provide great green spin.
“Stabilising bars and a thicker face deliver great feel and ensure that golfers can hit to precise yardages,” says Solheim. “Distance control is an absolute must for better players, but precision is going to help anyone lower their scores.” The technology in the head helps to create an impressively straight ball flight throughout, which plays a big part in producing consistent distances.
Lefty Ping i20 irons display the same head information, sole thicknesses, lofts and canal lengths as
PING G15 Irons, together with several new features which aid feel, forgiveness and also distance. Anyone wanting to shape shots would prefer the S56 heads, but the majority of people will see consistently straight hitting as a positive.
They are easy to work both ways, left and right. Pings are expensive but worth it. They are forgiving on off center hits but most importantly they are very accurate. Mishits are only barely less accurate than hitting
cheap golf clubs on the screws. Unless you are a single digit handicapper and can hit forged irons, I really recommend these clubs.
