Ping woods also have a reputation for their classic good looks and the Ping G15 fairway wood, which scored highly on TG's test, is no exception. Perfect for golfers who struggle with confidence, this ping g15 fairway wood has an elongated, low profile design, giving mid-high handicap golfers maximum forgiveness, and an external weight pad for a higher golf ball launch and utmost distance.

The whole G15 line from Ping is fantastic. I have a cheap ping g15 driver and G15 irons set and my game has improved by 5 strokes. Although the G15 fairway wood was not the longest by a matter of only a few yards, it was deadly accurate, very forgiving, got the ball a long way out there, sounded great and was very stable and comfortable to hit. A higher launch angle has also been achieved by the insertion of an external weight pad at the back of the sole which has moved the CG significantly further back and slightly lower.

This Ping G15 fairway wood is good for all handicaps. I am personally a 3 handicap and it has helped me. Even when i don't make solid contact to ball still flys. The club head is much larger than any other fairway wood I've played before, and finding any part of the large sweet spot is easy. The ball seems to love to go straight with this club, so in my opinion it would not be my first choice for a shaped shot. The G-15 delivered great ball flight and outstanding distance. The club head looks great at address and the grip and the shaft feel perfect.

Among so many discount golf clubs available, I find the G15 very easy to hit, which gets the ball in the air easily, looks great at setup, very forgiving, very long, and makes the perfect "ping" sound when you hit it flush. I like the distance and accuracy that the club provides on fairway or rough lies. A Ping Golf TFC 149F graphite shaft has been engineered with lightweight materials to increase clubhead speed for utmost distance on the golf course, while also delivering optimal launch conditions for superb consistency, control and feel.

The K15 will be much more forgiving, but the G15 is longer and just feels better than the ping k15 3 wood. Playing in windy conditions G15 may perform better. With an external weight pad, the centre of gravity on this G15 Fairway Wood is lower and deeper for a high golf ball trajectory with low spin rate. Besides, the elongated low profile design provides greater playability and forgiveness, whether your golf ball is on the tee or fairway of the golf course.
