Mizuno have launched new set - Mizuno MP-64 Irons. They are engineered with the help of Mizuno’s Tour players, including Luke Donald, and firmly aimed at accomplished golfers.

The MP-64 irons are designed to carry on the 'MP series' mantle played down the years by Seve, Faldo and Donald. The quest for more feedback led to a thicker, bulging muscle pad behind a wider portion of the face. This produces a smoother feel that Mizuno's tour players recognise from previous muscleback irons.

With feel and control as top priorities, Mizuno engineers relied heavily on the use of advanced simulation tools and input from Mizuno Staff Member Luke Donald in the development of the MP-64. Precise control of vibration frequencies through Mizuno’s Harmonic Impact Technology (HIT) paired with the utilization of the highest quality material (1025E Pure Select) in Mizuno’s patented Grain Flow Forging process ensure that Mizuno MP-69 Irons’s players cavity design delivers the ultimate in soft, solid, and consistent feel.

The MP-64 features a double nickel mirror chrome finish and offers slightly more forgiveness than a traditional blade thanks to the shallowest of cavities. The smooth look and feel is complemented by a softer, edged, playable sole shape. The tour grind is maintained, while less defined edges produce more consistent distance control and turf interaction.

The discount golf clubs--MP-64's will certainly tick a lot of boxes for the better player. The clubs have a very shallow cavity so they do offer a touch of forgiveness – but the main point of these irons is to deliver exceptional feel and more feedback.
