"ReelzChannel was the envy of young girls across the nation this weekend spending an entire Saturday with the cast of Twilight.

Summit Entertainment, which made Twilight, is thrilled with the early hype around the November 21st release, but they are being cautious not to count their chickens before they hatch. Most industry insiders already consider an adaptation of the second book, New Moon, a foregone conclusion, but thus far Summit has only admitted to preproduction work on the script.

During the course of the marathon junket, we had the chance to confirm that each and every character from the book series is signed on to three Twilight movies.


What about Breaking Dawn? Since the book wasn't out when the contracts were drawn up, it was not part of the deal. Translation? If this series gets all the way to part four, Summit is either recasting or Stewart, Pattinson, Lautner, and crew can look forward to a nice fat raise."

no recasts PLEASE...i won't go see it if they recast! but here's my thing.. go read this and see how people bitch about how bad BD was. i really do not understand why they hated this damn book so bad. why they bitch about her getting preggers and having the baby. gah and most of these people at this place are not teenagers. i'd go see the movie i know that much. ending at eclipse is a bad stupid idea, unless they can't get them to play the parts.

I want to see BD with the actual cast members.
For me it would be incomplete to stop with Eclipse and "wedding and a bite", sorry!!
I love this book, it's not only about "the little girl" there are so many parts they could show...the wedding, the honey moon, the two wolf packs, Jacob' imprinting, funny things with Bella winning over Emmett, Bella's training, the finding of other vampires for witness...

I will be right there on strike as well! I don't know why they wouldn't just use the original cast. I mean granted Twilight has to do well for them to even make New Moon but It would make more sense to have the original cast in BD.

And if they make the close together there is no reason to recast because they won't be that much older.

if they do the others.. which i have a feeling they are already thinking about new moon. they will do them back to back jsut like they did with harry potter. for that reason alone the getting older bit.

I just watched an interview with Rob from one of the mall signings last night. He said that there's already a script for New Moon, and if Twilight does well they could start shooting around Feb or March!

Thats like my husband runs his mouth about the way Stephenie has her vampires, like they can go out in the sun, the cullens are good, and he said something about vampires are bi (like in Anne Rice books). I'm like HELLO, its not real! This is just a story.

Yeah I say BS. I watched the spoiler thing to and they all were talking about how they can't wait to see the characters grow in the next movies.

yeah people are pulling shit out of their asses now. honestly if they killed alice that would be wrong and i woudn't want to see it that to be honest. but yeah i saw the spoilers thing too so yeah people are dumb.

tho summit has commited to the other 3 already. with melissa to write new moon and eclipse. they have no writer for breaking dawn i think it said. but they are still just waiting on the numbers before saying yep we're doing them.

I'm guessing they have no writer for BD yet cause they only signed all the actors for New Moon and Eclipse. Robert had said that BD wasn't released yet when they were all cast...so they all signed on for only two more movies.

correct...i think the big thing too is seeing how much money twilight is gonna make. which will also decide how much the actors are gonna make. people are saying that with BD they will probably have to pay them all huge money. which if this all goes how it should.. that shouldn't be an issue. i would hope that if they can't get these actors they wouldn't make them. i know if they didn't have them i wouldn't go see it. it just wouldn't be the same...it just wouldn't work.
