Titleist 710 AP1 Irons and Titleist 710 AP2 Irons are part of a long line of acclaimed Titleist irons. Both sets received a gold rating in the 2011 "Golf Digest" Equipment Hot List. Generation after generation of new Irons from kinds of compnies have been developed. With so many new irons followed, the Titleist AP2 710 Forged Irons still continually show its charm to the golfers and never fade.

The new Titleist Titleist AP2 710 Irons offer golfers exactly that. By conducting extensive research on sound and vibration analysis, they have managed to reduce the harsh lower frequency vibrations that causes poor feel in irons. This led them to develop and construct a forged steel iron set that combines several technologies and materials to accomplish the desired results.

I hit cheap x-22 irons for some time and they were great clubs but I was ready to upgrade. When I played the Titleist AP2 710 Irons for the first time I had difficulty getting the ball of and I was doing terrible. After the first 9 when i hit the back 9 my partners were shocked, my balls were flying and going farther then ever. Shot a 55 on the front 9 but after getting used to them saved the back 9 with a 38. I gained a couple of yard on my shots and I am able to control the club better.

I have now played well with my Titleist AP2 710 Irons. The design allows me to hit the ball high when I need to; yet knock cheap golf clubs down into the wind. The design is a players look, but has excellent forgiveness. I am 52, a 1 handicap, and have been playing golf for 40 years. I can say that these clubs rate right up there with any set I have ever owned. I would certainly purchase them again.

Titleist 710 AP1 Irons VS AP2 Irons
Former Masters champion Zach Johnson uses a combination of the ap1 710 for sale and AP2 irons, preferring the forgiveness of the AP1s in the long irons and the playability of the AP2s in the shorter irons. PGA Tour players using the AP2 irons, as of 2011, include Ben Crane, Steve Stricker and Nick Watney. For most amateurs, the AP1 irons are a better choice as they will make the game easier tee to green, but it is worth getting custom fitted to find out which club best suits your swing.
