Callaway is known for making quality discount golf clubs, several of which are played by club and touring professionals. The company is also known for its superb game-improvement irons such as the FT Fusion. Introduced in 2008, FT irons are solid clubs that are still a bit on the pricey side, however, can be purchased at a variety of retailers. They are also popular on the used market.

When we first sat eyes on the Mizuno MP-69 Irons, it was noticeable that the heads on the FT Irons are slightly smaller than a lot of other irons. This is particularly obvious at address, and may possibly leave some players perhaps not feeling overly confident standing over the ball.

However despite the smaller heads, the Ping Anser Forged Irons weren't really overly difficult to hit. And good shots in particular, can feel so good at impact, it was actually like the feeling you often get when hitting a hybrid club.

But even on the bad swings and miss-hits, there is very rarely any vibration or feedback with these TaylorMade RBZ Irons. So generally the feeling you get is actually pretty good anyway on most strikes, whether the actual shot produced was a good one or not.

These clubs do feel nice. The Sense-Sert works well. I am actually a big fan of Taylor Made's and Nickent's Tungsten Polymer Cartridges for this very reason. Every shot feels good according to http://www.discountovergolf.com/Ping-K15-Irons-UK_201.html. There is no fear of the dreaded "Hogan Sting" even on a mis-hit during the dead of winter. Unfortunately, the one thing the cartridgers and Sense-Serts do is deaden an extremely well struck shot as much as they do a mediocre hit. Seeing as I have a lot more mediocre hits than ones where I absolutely pure the sweet spot I guess that's okay. It keeps me close to my Taylor Mades and it works just as well on these Mizuno MP-58 Irons.
