I think we are all on the same page in here and a lot of other Twilighters feel the same.....he isnt Cauis. He can be the best actor in the world but he looks nothing like what was described.

Exactly I think they should have used someone who's way older than him and I will openly admit that I instantly thought of Bill Nighy as Cauis.
I have a question how on earth are they going to make them look old like Bella describes them in the New Moon book?
A lot of people feel he isnt right for the part so I kind of feel bad for the guy because if he already isnt even the right fit for the character and then he bombs on the acting.....dear lord help him....you know there are some intense fans out there
You know I was thinking about that too but there is a huge difference with this guy. I know people were against Rob and also against Nikki and they both did amazing jobs but they could also both pull off the look of the characters when it was all said and done where as this guy cant become like ten to twenty years older and look like an actual adult and he cant be the big brooding Cauis that I pictured. At the very most he will surprise us all and make us change the way we imagine Cauis looking....but he can never really look like the Caius I pictured.

Plus it isnt like a quick fix with his appearance that would make people say oh ok that will work. Like with Nikki Reed people didnt like that she wasnt a natural blonde.....add a wig or dye her hair and its fixed with this guy not so much

Ok now I agree with what TwilightLulu82 said we never know what he'll be like until he's acted his part so I guess we'll have to wait and see...lol
True....doesnt mean he looks the part though lmao. No one is saying anything about his acting he just doesnt look like the Cauis that most of us pictured in our head.

Ah i think he looks pretty good.. all the cast have this strange beauty i feel.. none of them are the typical stunning but more misteriously stunning (if that makes sense!) and i think he fits in with this.. maybe he does look a little young but i think he will be able to pull it off.. they wouldnt have cast him if they didnt think he could... have faith in them! im more worried about the director changing pointless things like in twilight with the going on the field trip (where was that in the book!?) things like that reeeally irritate me.. why do it? lol
