I hated how in Breaking Dawn Jacob was sooooo disrespectful in the Cullen House. He walked around like he owned the place and was all territorial and I was just thinking THIS IS NOT YOUR HOUSE! I think that was one of my biggest peeves about Jacob.....he had no respect for others. The Cullens were actually trying to put up with him and he just was acting annoying. Plus I didnt like how he was so hypocritical. He calls them freaks but um....Jacob turns into a dog when he gets angry....thats a bit freaky to me!

I beg to differ because a lot of stuff that happened still would have happened without Jacob. Edward still would have left and then came back, Victoria and the newborns still would have come and if the Cullens didnt have enough help there were vampires would have come helped them...just like with the Volturi....Edward and Bella still would have gotten married, had Renesmee and been in trouble with the Volturi so all in all Jacob just was there to bug me in my opinion lol. I hated having to read parts of Breaking Dawn from his point of view....it would have been awesome to read from Edward's. The whole imprinting thing was still weird and a lot of seemed like filler.

well i loved the 4th book and i love jacob..not as much as edward but i still love him. but i DO hate the fact he imprinted on reneesme...BUT it gave the story a good twist. yeah, i didnt like it but it kind of had to be done..

True but as far as the battle goes if there werent wolves to help then the Cullens would have just gotten vampires to help. Plus Bella was still doing dumb things even when she met Jacob and I think it is a stretch to say without Jacob Bella would have had to leave and go back to Renee. Plus there is no way the Cullens would have let Renesmee die. It seems like you are doubting the ability of the Cullens and the fact that Bella and Edward would protect their child no matter what.....Jacob or no Jacob. All I am saying is the story could have been just as intriguing without Jacob. Jacob wasnt in Twilight that much and didnt have a huge part but it was still an amazing book. New Moon where Jacob is in it the most is the least favorite among fans even though of course you have your few who loved it the most. And to this day I still think the whole imprinting on a newborn is just weird. I know she wrote it and tried to explain how it wasnt but yea...still weird.
