well we all know i love jake. the thing is.. the books are written, it's how SM wrote them and jake happens to be one of if not her fav character of the books..lol. i don't think it would have been as interesting without jake. bella gets in trouble..edward saves her...over and over again with no interference isn't fun for me. i only say that cause the other books i've read have something or someone that just gets in the way. it's what makes it interesting. ahh the great thing about books let me tell ya...lol

it may be the least favorite of the fans...well most fans...but it's the most important! SM was gonna stop after twilight and could have but jake came alive and for him i am thankful to have such a wonderful series. he brings something real to it in a way for me. wakes me up hey there's a real thing going on too out there not just a perfectly beautiful out of this world vampire that is sweet constantly...haha. we all know bella...she needed that realness (is that a word? LOL) ya know have you ever just wondered how and why all these people came to SM? cause she's said that bella is like her. i've always wondered if in her time or another life or something if that was her life. ya know what i mean? LOL it's easy for me to like jake cause i have been jake so i understand him i think.

edward and bella end up together.. which is how i wanted it. i never wanted her with jake in any way. i know there are those jake fans out there that all about that and i'm not them. i want her with edward! i just like jake as a whole. everyone was safe and sound. but the imprinting doesn't bother me and i don't see him as that way and when he describes imprinting and how it works. most i thought should have an understanding of that. why do you think that bella and edward in the end were ok with it? lol but i think because so many don't like jake they skip over parts and don't get to see the real story behind it all. not all just some.


i'm laughing so hard right now at my bro in law just making a simple post like that. he's so funny but is a jake fan it's fun having a man around here to entertain...muhahaha that and how we all get so in a uproar over fictional characters.... that is what is really something to me. boy good old SM!

i dont particulalry like jacob but i do think that he has an important role in the books i'm defo with team edward but team jake rocks too

I actually read the whole thing over and over and over and still didnt like Jacob......never skipped a part even if I wanted to. I definitely agree that SM was for some reason totally in love with Jacob and at times for me it seemed like she forced him on the reader. I hated reading from Jacob's POV so much. I would have loved it if it would have been more balanced. Maybe one part from Jacob POV one part from Edward POV and the rest from Bella. I know she is doing Midnight Sun....well hopefully but it would have been nice. I get the whole oh she probably wanted to change it up thing and make things interesting. I know a lot of writers stick to the cliche but the thing about writing and the real challenge is to see if you can avoid the cliche...she did that I just wish she could have found a way to without ramming Jacob down my throat for pages upon pages.....upon pages.

Ok lets just get this out there just because I dont like Jacob doesnt mean everyone else has to feel the same or act like they will get yelled at for saying they like him lol. It is a little weird really. Everyone has their own opinion I am simply expressing mine. The world isnt going to cave in if someone doesnt agree. Some people like Jacob, some dont, some are switzerland and of course some are total exclusively Team Edward and hate Jacob and some are totally exclusively Team Jacob and wanted Jacob with Bella...yuck! Its all opinions people no need to wave a white flag.....this isnt a war....unless there is something I dont know going on here?

ahh yes but the ones that like jake have to defend him. of course those people are gonna post in a i hate jake thread. you would in a i hate edward thread..hell i would too..haha i can honestly say that i do not know how the huge jake fans can hate edward... i really really don't...lol edward has all the love in the world. jake gets slammed. just like when a team jake person gets all bell and jake the team edward people go a running..haha i don't in my opinion feel he was shoved down my throat (again it was easy for me to connect with jake). what i do know is this tho...bella, edward and jake are SM's main muses. they are just the ones that are alive in her head, so that is why they are so in your face more over than the others. hell i'm no writer..haha but with my pals i know how the muses get in there and understand it. how one or 2 can just take over and you can't help but to put their POV on paper.

as far as SM goes, ya know what i think makes her so different? the way she goes in such great detail. i mean it can take 3 pages to describe what bella is wearing and how she got there..haha. where as most writers don't do that. other than that if you take all that out... she writes like anyone else..haha

that's what makes opinions so nice tho it makes the world go around and around.

Then too this whole forum is for fictional characters so what is to be expected but opinions lol. Not really a far stretch. Websites all over the world have been made for these characters and as much time, money and effort that has spent to get to know the characters it is no surprise to have an opinion about them.

Never heard that before...ever...not sure how I feel about it. Kind of....ewwwwww. Why couldnt be like everyone has mouths or ears or eyes does it really have to be so crude oh and who makes sayings like that or sayings in general. I always find it interesting how sayings become cliches and other are rarely used. For once I would like someone to be able to backtrack and say oh well so and so say that and it just took off from there LMAO. Oh but back to the topic lol I dont think it is weird to hate and love a fictional character. People love Edward but when someone says they hate Jacob its suddenly....how can you hate a fictional character. Hell if I love Edward there is a good chance hating Jacob wouldnt be hard for me to do.
